Metrojaya brought a little Deepavali cheer to some people living in the
Sentul area of Kuala Lumpur with gifts of food and money to help residents
celebrate the occasion. Senior management staff visited 25 homes in the area and gave away foodstuff and ang pow to families living in the
hard core poverty section of society. The residents live in run down
concrete shacks with cardboard walls and partioning. The gesture was part of Metrojaya's programme of community projects
whereby the company is reaching into the community to spread goodwill and
offer help to those most in need.
