Thanks to the combined efforts of EON Finance and Metrojaya, smiles
were brought to the faces of out for more than 100 children from Asrama
Damai Orphanage when they were treated to a pre Hari Raya shopping spree
at Malaysia's largest shopping complex at Mid Valley Megamall. The orphans from Kuang who were mostly first timers to the shopping
mall were given the run of the Metrojaya store for an hour to choose their
favourite items. Most of them wanted school bags, shoes and stationery
items for their next school term which begins soon after Hari Raya. The shopping spree organised by the sports club of EON Finance was made
possible by the kind generosity of Metrojaya Mid Valley which gave special
discounts of up to 40% for items purchased. The children were later
presented with EON Finance coin boxes and souvenir items and a goodie bag
from Metrojaya. The Asrama Damai Orphanage has about 120 residents and requires
RM15,000 monthly to cover expenses. Those who wish to donate to the
