Top spots for Metrojaya in Malaysia Mega Sales Carnival Trishaw Contest!

Metrojaya took both first and second prizes at a Best Decorated Trishaw Contest held to mark the launch of the Malaysia Mega Sales Carnival at Dataran Merdeka in Kuala Lumpur on December 2nd, 2000 between members of the Malaysian Retailers Association. 

The launch was officiated by Minister for International Trade and Industry Datuk Seri Rafidah Aziz and Minister for Culture Arts and Tourism Datuk Abdul Kadir Sheikh Fadzir, who each took a ride in the winning trishaws in a Parade through the streets of Kuala Lumpur. decorated by the Metrojaya Visual Merchandising team. 

Promoted internationally, the Malaysia Mega Sales Carnival seeks to help make Malaysia a popular shopping destination for tourists.
